The Seattle Seahawks are mere hours away from their divisional rematch against the San Francisco 49ers, who have won the previous six games in this series. Now, the rivalry shifts to Santa Clara, CA where the Seahawks at one point used to be the winningest team at Levi Stadium when the Niners were abysmal in the mid-to-late-2010’s.
Seattle is currently in last place in the NFC West and risk falling further behind the rest of the division. However, if the Hawks were to pull off an upset over San Francisco, it would get them right back into the race for a division title. Seattle has not won the NFC West since the 2020 season.

Seahawks vs 49ers prediction, pick
The 49ers have defeated the Seahawks in the last six-straight meetings and five of them have been decided by two or more scores. There is a clear gap in talent and coaching, and I’m not sure an extra week of prep will be enough for the Seahawks to overcome their most hated rivals. Especially considering how much volatility there has been on Seattle’s offensive line with Connor Williams retiring.
Olu Oluwatimi will get the start at center, and right tackle Abe Lucas will be making his season debut. Tough draw for their first starts of the season against San Francisco.
One day, Seattle will end this losing streak, but I’m not sure today is the day.
